In the first full month of being open PeerDen.com has almost 23,000 unique users come and visit the site.

I would guesstimate another Month or so.

The metric that "we", as a community, should really care about is not how many users are registered, but the quality of those that do register.

If we have 10,000 registered users, what percentage of them register, seed and really contribute to the community as a whole. This contribution might be in assisting other users, sharing unique content or simply seeding the existing content.

I agree it is quality over quantity but without the extra quantity you won't get the extra quality as one is needed in order to obtain the other, yes we will get alot of wasters who just leech until they can leech no more and that will be their loss (when low ratio mod is on), but we do need a certain amount of leechers so that the seeders have someone to seed to as in the long run it will only help the seeders ratio.

Hopefully we will continue to grow with a fair percentage of contributing members who benefit the site and upload new content and index on other sites as this will only help to spread the word and ensure continual growth for the future.

The site is on the whole a great one. I've been a member of loads in my time and they soon fizzle out because of the lack of interest of those that first set the site up. This site seems to be different in the fact that, the admin, moderators ect all seem to take an active and an interested role in the site..comstantly, not just when they feel like it. Also although at the end of the day, the servers ect all need paying for, you don't push and push for premium members to get the money.

You all seem to be a set of decent people and i think i will enjoy my time here alot.

I've always been the type not to ask for hand outs. If people see a value they will signup for premium .

ROTFLMFAO!!!!!!, I've been registered on hundreds of sites and i think even with PeerDen the time its been open is the best torrent community, not been bias with been a MoD but we have TOP quality release torrents and a dam good premium DDL section, so i agree with the other comments above quality over quantity
