Default london car insurance

ok i just had a heart-attack when insurance ppl told me moving to london or surrounding areas will put my insurance up from £780 to nearly £3k!!!any londoners or ppl from general area got any tips for good insurance companies and/or brokers to get the numbers down a bit.

Am in London best I could find was Swift.com. Net based only but haven't had any problems.

i initialy used confused but found their prices to be higher than an identical quote on moneysupermarket.com which is where i got my current insurance from. and joiner thanks i'll have a look at swift,as long as im insured im not fussed as my cars only worth £800 so why the f**k would i pay over £3k to insure the bloody thing lol.admittedly the address that gives that quote is only temp but it still a fortune and the place we looking to live permanently is still £600 extra

all insurances are a rip off blu i have never been able to find cheep motor insurance ever for the last 20 bloody years, it either goes up or stays the same even with my NCD

because they know you have to pay for it other wise the old bill come and give you 6 points for no insurance

well im just scouting about for the likes of kent and my insurance is only a couple of hundred on top of what i currently pay,still a rip-off but much better.areas look nice and we can afford to live there too.looks like we gonna have to try jump straight into a new place after having a quick browse of the area in person
