Hey everyone..

It seems America has made a historical desicion we will remember the rest of our lives.. What do you all think?


I for one was all for McCain at the beginning and chose t support Obama at the end. Dumb of me I know. I still thought Obama was wrong, but after waking this morning I realized we have an African American president that is going to help get our country out of debt. He may not do it all, but he will do what he can. I believe he will lead us into the right directions.

i reluctantly supported mccain...not b/c i didn't like mcain i just saw him as the lesser of the two evils. honestly i think we were screwed either way. i just preferd to be screwed by mccain. but i guess i'm a defeatest since i don't understand why someone would spend tens of millions of dollars for a $400k a year job. if anything it means that they are corrupt b/c no one gives them money for nothing they expect something on their investment. my main thing against obama is 4 years ago no one had a clue who he was. he is what a 1 term senator? and we just elevated him to the white house. his campaign about change is all fine and dandy but if he doesn't get the vote of congress his change isn't going anywhere. Mccain was/is old as dirt. he was a POW for 5+ years or something like that so to me that proves 1. he was a poor unlucky SOB and 2 he has devotion to this country. he has probably been in politics too long but yeah....i don't know....i don't think either president would/will help us out of debt or the like i think the economy is just going to change on its own its the way shit goes.....my worthless 2 cents probably didn't like it...oh well thats life..deal with it

Very well said. Although our country sucks right now, I'm a Christian, therefore I have faith. faith means I have to believe in someone or something to help us. I believe that if God didn't want Obama in, He wouldn't have been in.. The way I see it, Everything happens for a reason.Whether or not we humans approve of it or not.

For all those saying Obama has "no experience", Abraham Lincoln had just as little, and look at what he achieved.

McCain being "old as dirt" is also a problem, if you think about it. The possibility of him dying in the next four years is very real, and if Palin took over, the world could end. She implied, at least once, that if she were in charge, she would nuke the middle east. Starting a nuclear war would NOT be a good thing for this country, let alone the rest of the world.

i'll still say i dislike both the choices. but @ least i put forth my vote..now i can complain for the next 4 years :-D haha. i always enjoy telling those who didn't vote but want to complain to STFU...hmm maybe thats why people think i'm an asshole....doubt thats all of it but its a damn good start :-p

I think Obama was a fresh idea a new way of thinking. Thats what America ultimately seen, not his color. Today I am proud!! The nature of his win speaks volumes to how America has changed. Both politically and in its diversity.

I am optomistic about the upcoming 4 years. I will say that it may be 8-12 yrs before America fully recovers from the policies of the Bush Administration.

I couldn't agree more.. I kind of see if like this.... People seen what bush has done. turned Republicans to a democrat and see if they can do any different. Thats how i feel anyhow. I could be very wrong..

Im thrilled that Barack is our next president of the United States of America. The republicans were digging our country in the grave. Im glad the Democrats are back in charge just like the clinton days. God bless America and its next president Barack Obama.

out of billions and billions dollar debt by lowering the tax how is that possible print more money ?

By stopping the tax breaks on the rich or people making $250,000 or more per year. By cutting the tax breaks on Big Oil Companies that profit trillions of dollars per year. By cutting government programs that are not benefiting America. By making beneficial government programs more efficient and less costly. By cutting $10 billion dollars that is going to the Iraq government each month. By creating more jobs that would bring in more tax revenue.

i still dont see its possible as adult schooling is free to further career that costs money do admit he should bring all the soldiers home back too there families were they belong thatll save alot of money and raising the tax for everyone even the wealthy but then you have bad healthcare and minor schooling and the economy bush really messed everything up in a measily 8 years
