For those who dont know: How to get a free Official XBox 360 Wireless Adaptor.

1. Phone Microsoft.
2. Explain the "situation"
I) Explain that you have just bought a 360 headset and does not work, and that it keeps coming up with flashing red light then turns to steady red light - Standard error for wireless adaptor
II) Also say that you've tried it in a friends console and it's the same problem, also make sure you say I've tried a friends wireless adaptor in YOUR 360 and it works fine - Just so it shows it's not your 360
3. They may ask for some details, so just cooperate, they'll probably only ask if you've already made an xbox live account aswell as your name/email and if you've made one an xbox live account details - Simply so they can register the adaptor under your account & email.
4. If all goes well, they'll agree it's the adaptor and send a new one out to you free of charge which will take approximately 4-5 working days.
5. End result, a free Official Microsoft XBox 360 Wireless Adaptor without even buying one.

i have done simular to this to get a free wirelees controller from microsoft, just said the wirless contoller does not work properly (the anolog stick not working) and they send you a brand new one out FREE!!!, just make sure you say its a couple of months old
