Modding The Wii
What's needed; - A good soldering iron - - Thin wire - (loads of it) - Tape - (loads of this to) - 9-pins D-sub connector - (A female and male) [NOTE] you will need some thing to make a hole in the back of your Wii[NOTE] now to the guide first thing to do is open the wii guide and video guide Now you need to solder the wires to the drive board. here is a small image witch will show you which points to soldered to. ![]() Once you have soldered them correctly put tape over the points (this will stop any shorting out) reinstall the drive in the Wii. Be careful though now the drive is back in the wii and all the wires are in the right place connect the 9 d-sub up you need to make a hole for the 9 pin d-sub connector here is where i put mine ![]() now solder the wires to the "9 pin d-sub connector" here is a pic i used to solder the wires to the "9 pin d-sub" view: (pin side not solder side)now put it all back together and its reddy to install any wii mod chip to date ![]() here is a layout of the "9 pin d-sub connector" so you can install all you're mod chip/s view: (pin side not solder side)installing mod chips via the serial port port chiip cyclowiz Wiid Wiikey Wiinja Yoasm 1.
