Default New uTorrent - Can't use Update Tracker?

I no longer have the option to "Update Tracker" on the files I'm downloading or seeding. It is grayed out, but the tracker is working.

Any one else run in to this problem?

It is not a problem.
It is a feature of the new uTorrent.
If the tracker you are using has an minimum update interval set than uTorrent will respect it and won't update till the time elapses and it will update itself.
I believe the interval for peerden is 33 minutes.

You can see how much time has elapsed by looking at the trackers tab which is next to the general tab when you have highlighted a specific torrent.
This has been done to prevent people from putting more strain on the trackers by continuous unnecessary updating.
If you don't like the feature you can always go back to the previous version(which still works gr8 imo) like I have. They have also changed the icon in the systray from round to square. the new one looks ugly imo.

regards

Sagar

I actually was thinking the same thing.. But when I pulled up the tracker tab at the bottom of the page it tells you how many mins untill it auto updates the tracker.. The most I have seen on mine was 9 mins, so I am guessing it does it every 10???? Not positive about it though.

as long as you don;t have frequent power cuts in ur area ur fine.
this is because power cut might cause you to loose your upload stats because even if you had a UPS you wouldn't be able to update your stats before your ups runs out.

Its not a problem. It is grayed out only for certain sites. for example XXXXXXX has no time limit so it works every time.

lol @ Chevy being too lazy to downgrade.

Some people have to work really hard to be that lazy. Not lucky enough to be naturals at it like you

(or sometimes me)

Why can't I download? - "leeching forbidden you are only allowed to seed"

If you have downloaded over 2GB and your ratio has dropped below 0.50 you will not be able to download.

Solutions

1) Leave a completed torrent in your client until you have uploaded enough data to bring your ratio up to 0.75
2) Upload a torrent of your own and seed until your ratio is 0.75 or higher.
3) Donate to the site and gain Premium membership

Please let me know if my torrent or links are dead

just un-install the new one and re-install 1.7 then restart your torrents
