How to create a static ip address
If you don't already have a static IP address and don't know how to set one up these useful guides will show you step by step how to set one up - many isp's charge extra for a static address which is money spent un-necessarily. In case you didn't realize you are better off using a static IP address for many reasons including for your torrent client/s and other sharing site/s otherwise each time your isp changes your ip you will probably need to foward your port/s again but these useful guides will help save you both time and money! I did not write these guides myself as the people at portforward.com have written a very good guide already but please be careful to follow all of the steps properly because if you make a mistake you will not have an internet connection - but do not worry too much if this happens as you can just go to control panel, then network connections, then right click the connection that you use, then properties then double click internet protocol (TCP/IP) then select obtain IP address automatically then ok out of both that box and the properties box then you will be back online to do the guide again, it is better to take notice and ensure to follow ALL stages of the guide correctly the first time.
