It looks like a piece of an installation to some program, probably one that wasn't deleted all the way an still attempts to start on startup. Try tidying your programs and removing those you don't use, as the remnant may be a shared dll that is forcing it to try to start, probably a printer or similar item.

you also could try Run > msconfig and see if its in your start up, to disable it

I take you have virus checked lately? I don't think it is virus linked or it would be all over the search engines. Search the registry to see where the file is referenced it may give you at least the application it's related to?

Disable or delete the start-up entry using RegSeeker, then run Clean the Registry & tick the box that says Scan drives for old .exe enteries in registry.
Run the scan and delete the stuff it finds. Then reboot to see if it resurfaces. If it still shows up after that, then try using ProcessExplorer to see where it's coming from.

make sure you backup the registry before tinkering..... reg cleaners will normally do this as they are tinkering with the heart of windows.

Yup, like doom says regseeker has a back-up facility for anything it removes. Better safe than sorry
![]() PS. I hate re-installing windows. I prefer using Acronis Trueimage to make back-up's. It works really well because my OS is on a small System partition and all my other junk & My Documents type stuff is on the rest of the drive. If anything goes tits up I just take 15mins to restore the System partition to a previous (healthy & working) disc image. It's nice because all my programs and settings are already there & ready to use, a few may need updating slightly - but that's all ![]()

hey... brunlea... you don't work on a help desk do you...... hehehe ... re-install is all you ever get from support representatives..
Off Topic: Check this......I'm sendng my laptop back to PC-World to get the letter U replaced on my laptop keyboard and they said to me make sure you have a backups as they may format my hard disks. I asked why they said normal procedure to do this, and I said if they do I will sue them and made sure they recorded my statment. Still not happy with them I've taked out my HDD drives, I have a perfect Vista install that's no problem..... They not touching it...

I can't believe they would format your HDD just to replace a missing key. I bet really they just toss your laptop and send back a new one of the same model coz it's quicker than messing about. (and then the staff can claim your old laptop as a perk of the job) I think I'd prefer them to just post the letter U out to me and I'd stick it on myself. Or even a whole new keyboard. But I suppose clicking a key back into place would invalidate my warranty with them. ![]()

If none worked Maybe should try downloading copy of "Unlocker" App It good have it when apps are freezed it can shut it down for you.. Its Free & Search for is-8O03V.exe on your PC by using Start/Search Plus may also go in Advacned option to tick to search hidden files too
Once found it right click on it & See Unlocker click it on that file & than try delete it. Can Search on Google "Unlocker 1.8.7" I could of give the link but dunno If Im allowed too on here ![]() I Searched On Google on that file which no where be found no results about it, Kinda strange not have any results of that file..
