Exclamation Mac OS X Leopard 10.5 DVD

Hi i don't know if i'm posting correctly but i'll give it a try.
Can anyone sell me a copy of the Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard Double Layer DVD?? I've downloaded it about 3 times (yes the 6+ Gigs ) and when i try to burn them Toast and Disk utility fail. I've download it off of here but it still fails. I wasted 5 Double Layer dvds ( about $30 [ $6 each ] ..)
So i lost hope. So can anyone sell me a copy?? Please. Hey i'm a college student so try not to be stingy.

Help really appreciated.

Moved to General Support. And this is not eBay.

You cannot burn the Leopard DMG with Toast. You must use Disk Utility. But there are other installation methods. The best option is to Restore the DMG to an external hard disk drive (or iPod).

Also, you do not need to re-download these files multiple times. RAR will notify you if there is any corruption during extraction with a "CRC error" and then you would only need to re-download the corrupted part, not the entire 6.66 GB. Also, when you mount the DMG, there is a verification process. So don't waste your bandwidth unless completely necessary.

Was the error during the burn process or installation?

Yes Xander this is not ebay my apologies. Well My copy of leopard is not a DMG is an ISO format and when i try to burn it using Toast I get an error saying that the disk cannot be burned error i think was -36. In parenthesis says " the disk might be copy protected." And Yes Xander I've tried the different methods from this website: to restore the image to another hard drive and it says that restored failed, that no such directory or source. I'm really frustrated cause i really ned this to work. My mac's HDD s failing. So i'm backing up as much data as i can but i want to install Leopard but it's not letting me burn it or restore it?? so what do i do??

Please Help Me.

Thanks. And thanks for all your great posts.

I'm not sure why you're receiving errors. I have both the .DMG and .ISO versions of Leopard that are posted on PeerDen and they work perfectly fine. Perhaps since your HDD is failing that is corrupting the data and therefore the burn process? Maybe your DVD burner is faulty as well? Maybe you should take your computer into an Apple Store or contact AppleCare (1-800-APL-CARE).

However, you should use Disk Utility, not Toast, to burn the .ISO/.DMG. Try burning the DVD at a slower speed. Really, the best installation option is the Restore method.

Check the How-To Install Mac OS X v10.5 Leopard Tutorial again and see if you missed anything and then try the Restore method again - check out the Video Tutorial as well.
