Just curious if utorrent has been crashing anyone comp???
As soon as I start a torrent it BSOD's into reboot.
Bittornado works fine but I much prefer utorrent.

sounds like a corrupt install, definitely needing to be removed. If you are using the newest beta release, maybe you should go back to the last stable release or the contrary, if using an older version, upgrade to the latest stable release. Either way you should uninstall all components and install fresh. Bittornado is a horrible client and the tracker often rejects it.

I am currently using uTorrent 1.7.7 and seeding 24/7 at high speed. My average upload speed is 900+ KBps with no crashes or instability.

i am using Utorrent 1.8 Beta (build 10524) seeding 24hrs aday and never had any crashes at all, i would recomend what jerry says above and try and uninstall UT then try and reinstall or update to the more stable release

Why can't I download? - "leeching forbidden you are only allowed to seed"

If you have downloaded over 2GB and your ratio has dropped below 0.50 you will not be able to download.

Solutions

1) Leave a completed torrent in your client until you have uploaded enough data to bring your ratio up to 0.75
2) Upload a torrent of your own and seed until your ratio is 0.75 or higher.
3) Donate to the site and gain Premium membership
