If your port is closed there will be a little yellow triangle . If everything is OK you should see the green light . Read the following for more information...

I've had trouble with thinks like that in the dim and distant past (thankfully)

It really was a pain. I had forwarded ports correctly but still no luck. Other times everything had been working fine for a long time and then suddenly I was not-connectable. Turns out it was something to do with the wireless router... but I can't remember exactly what

If you've followed the port forward guides and you are not blocked by a firewall on XP I think you should assume that the problem does not lie with you for the timebeing.

What make of router are you using?

Try turning your router off for a few mins and then back on & if that does the trick. Also if possible try to get it to release/renew your IP address (the one given to you from your ISP, even if it's static, not your one on your home network). I think something to do with that was my problem. Sorry I can't remember more.

Why can't I download? - "leeching forbidden you are only allowed to seed"

If you have downloaded over 2GB and your ratio has dropped below 0.50 you will not be able to download.

Solutions

1) Leave a completed torrent in your client until you have uploaded enough data to bring your ratio up to 0.75
2) Upload a torrent of your own and seed until your ratio is 0.75 or higher.
3) Donate to the site and gain Premium membership

Anyone have advice on how to try to port forward with a wireless card on a laptop? Firewall is done up right and everything I have looked for hasn't really helped me out. I have a old Cingular wireless card, and it got "upgraded" to the Sierra Wireless Aircard 860. I appreciate any help anyone can give me.
