Default Firefox help

ok i've tried versions 2.0.0.1.4 and the latest release both giving the following problem:

i can log in and use main page eg: shoutbox, if i try to view forums such as chit-chat it asks me to login again before allowing me to post but DOES then let me post. If i try to go into a movie post etc i simply get asked to login over and over again and get nowhere.

i've checked and double checked that 3rd party cookies are enabled etc, tried saving and not saving passwords and reinstalling the browser to no avail. any clue what the problem is people because im stuck back on my btyahoo browser again now

I think you're right that it's cookies, but I have no idea why. It's prolly some simple setting that's been overlooked.

What about the box that asks how long you want to keep the cookies? Got that set to 'ask me everytime' or to 'keep until expire' ?

If that's not the problem try typing about:config in the address bar and do a search for cookies & see what comes up. Could be that there's some setting from an old extension left in your preferences that's screwing things up. Stealther 1.0 caused some cookie probs and had to be rolled back to v.0.99

PS. if you try re-installing again delete your profile folder so's you can be certain there's no duff setting being carried over from a previous install.

Why can't I download? - "leeching forbidden you are only allowed to seed"

If you have downloaded over 2GB and your ratio has dropped below 0.50 you will not be able to download.

Solutions

1) Leave a completed torrent in your client until you have uploaded enough data to bring your ratio up to 0.75
2) Upload a torrent of your own and seed until your ratio is 0.75 or higher.
3) Donate to the site and gain Premium membership

Please let me know if my torrent or links are dead

Try to clear all cache... I don't use FF, but in general sometimes you can get some bad cache. Also do you notice a change in the URLs such as www.peerden.com or just peerden.com ?
