hello iam gonna try recover a wep/wpa key but was wonder what adapter to use i have : acer ipn2220 wirless lan card, a linksys wpc54g ver 5 and a linksys wusb54g ver 4 any of these anygood if not whats recommended please

What are you trying to recover the wep key from? Just a router? (like cracking someone else's wep key so you can use their router without them knowing)

Or do you have physical access to a PC which already has a wep key that you just don't know yourself? Because there is some software available that can get the wep key from PC's for you. I think siw.exe can do it:-
