now looking back on the above title it looks like an intro for an over-qualified drain cleaner lol but heres my question.

my new mp3 player (8gb Sony nwz 818) is MTP enabled,under xp with sp2 installed etc and WMP10 installed i can only sync my device,i cant play music from it directly thru my pc without copying it to a temp folder of one kind or another.im told that this has been sorted in WMP11 but,and its a big BUT,my xp like most,aint exactly 'legit',had no problems downloading and installing service packs,updates etc but WMP11 just keep tellin me it aint genuine.

now after reading all that,i need one simple answer,is there a way to get wmp11 installed on my dam rig and listen to my music directly????

i am running a blag xp and i have wmp11 running fine but i dont know how i did it lol
i think its sommat to do with they way mine is fiddled claret might know hes good like that

I have a student version of XP pro so it has no WGA snag and gets fully updates from microsoft, you might want to try this from ETHO its a new Windows Genuine Advantage Validation v1.7.69.1 CRACKED-ETH0 hopefully this will sort out your issue with MP11 not been genuine, i do have a AIO that instal Windows Programs without WGA check, i will torrnt if you want that, but try the ETHO first

Also if you go to tools - options on MP11 there is a option to sync devices to you pc that might help to

yeah i can sync on wmp10 but cant play the media on the drive as it just says please copy the media to another a folder outside the devive then open the new file.

btw i aint used any fixes so far on my xp.i just stick it on and install the sp's and net frameworks etc.only wmp11 ever given me a problem so never needed em
