Wesley Snipes was sentenced to three years in jail Thursday on charges of tax evasion.
In February, a jury in Florida had found Snipes guilty of failing to pay $2.7 million in taxes over a three-year span.
Three years in prison was the maximum sentence. Prosecutors had also sought a $5 million fine.

Guess it goes to show that no matter who you are or what you do, make sure you pay the taxman. He knew what he was doing and now has to pay-he'll do 6 months, at most a year. You are right, we are losing. Taxes go up so they can pay to prosecute and jail these deadbeats. PAY your taxes people, freedom isn't free.

Yeah he won't get Raiford or Starke as some call it, he'll get New River or Union as they accomodate the "White Collar" offenders. They no longer have tennis courts ($1.3 million dollar conversion to basketball courts). They still have a pool.

My ex wife told the taxman that i had been paid by her £100,000 from a business that i gave her when we split. As you know, there are no real winners and loosers in sport, especially football. There has been a small but healthy rivalry with Burnley and Blackburn since i was a kid but i think Blackburn might have edge.

But then again you never know with the smaller clubs knocking out the big guns in the fa cup ehh. Who knows but i would back Blackburn as much as you would Burnley.

I'm sorry but there is no way on earth that Wesley Snipes is going to serve "HARD TIME". He will be treated better in there than anyone, just because of who he is. Added to that , that no warden would like to see his name on the news as the warden of the jail that an inmate killed or injurd him badley.

All jails are soft in the west, pool tables, nike trainers, sky tv for football. After all we don't want to upset the little lambs ehh!!!!
