Manchester United Beats Cheslea On Penalty Kicks For Champions League Title




Manchester United has defeated Chelsea 6-5 in a penalty shootout to capture its third Champions League title.

The two teams went to penalty kicks after playing to a 1-1 tie.
Cristiano Ronaldo and John Terry each missed in the shootout before Edwin van der Sar saved a shot from Nicolas Anelka to make United the European champion.

Carlos Tevez, Michael Carrick, Calgary-born Owen Hargreaves, Nani, Anderson and Ryan Giggs scored on United's other kicks.
Michael Ballack, Juliano Belletti, Frank Lampard, Ashley Cole and Salomon Kalou replied for Chelsea.

Frank Lampard scored in regulation for Chelsea after Ronaldo's 26th-minute opener for United.

as you say TS the first half was great man utd all over chelsea but the 2nd half was boring, thats when i new it was going to pens, as for Drogba what a ass he was, well deserved that red card IMO and Terry well i just feel his pain

drogba he has been trying to get sent off all season me thinks.he is an ass he takes a knock on the shin he holds his face,he takes one on the chest holds his face lol he wants to get players sent off and finally the ref sent him on his way.and i personally think if you have a player sent off then it should effect you penalty takers. ie one less player to take a pen
