Using CoreAVC and AC3-Filter with the Media Player Classic - PeerDen.com

You need 4 Programs for this setup.

a.) Media Player Classic

b.) Premium members
CoreAVC Professional Edition v1.7.0.0-EDGE

c.) AC3 Filter

d.) Haali Media Splitter

Okay, start off with installing all of them.

Then open the Media Player Classic (shortcut MPC) and press "O". You will get into the options. Go the to "External Filters" Menu and then press "add" on the left. Add the AC3 Filter as well as the CoreAVC Video Decoder (by klicking "add filter..." and then point the program to the .ax files which were installed in the beginning [CoreAVCDecoder.ax] & [ac3filter.ax])

Now you just press "OK" and restart your MPC. Now your ready to watch 720p movies even on a weak machine (like mine

i have had hit or miss with certain 720p files
some would work fine others would lag a lot

mines a 3000+ sempron with 1 gb ram and 7800 gs graphics card

Athlon 3200+ 1GB RAM and NVIDIA GeForce 6800GT, but i need to think about building a newer spec system, might be old ish now but still runs fast

Mines Athlon 3000+, 2GB RAM and NVIDIA GeForce 7600 GS and this works fine for me
